The Cordish Companies have announced that Live! Casino and Hotel Louisiana will celebrate its grand opening on February 13, 2025. The event is set to include a variety of entertainment offerings and is subject to final approval from the Louisiana Gaming Control Board.
John Chaszar, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the property, shared his enthusiasm for the launch. “We couldn’t be more thrilled to announce our grand opening date. The new facility, which cost over $270 million to develop, is positioning itself as a major entertainment hub in the Shreveport-Bossier market. During its first month, the property will host performances by well-known artists such as Walker Hayes, Matt Mathews, and Clint Black.
Guests can look forward to a comprehensive entertainment experience at the venue. The property includes over 47,000 square feet of gaming space, featuring more than 1,000 slot machines, electronic table games, over 40 live-action table games, and a sportsbook.
