BetHog has raised new funding and introduced a B2B unit built around AI live dealer games, as the crypto casino and sportsbook looks beyond its own platform.
Good to Know
BetHog is taking its AI live dealer product to other operators through Sentient Studios, a new B2B provider aimed at live casino integration. The launch comes alongside a $10 million Series A round co-led by Will Ventures and RockawayX, with PCV, 6MV, Bullpen Capital and Advancit Capital also involved.
The company plans to use the capital to improve AI live dealer tools on BetHog and speed up the global operator rollout of Sentient Studios. BetHog, founded in early 2024 by the team behind FanDuel, runs as a crypto casino and sportsbook, giving the product a natural link to digital-asset and Web3 audiences. RockawayX also strengthens that crypto angle as part of the investor group.
Sentient Studios is built as a software-first alternative to live dealer studios that depend on human croupiers, fixed rooms and third-party production setups. Operators can add AI dealers through a pure revenue-share model, without upfront costs.
The model gives operators more room to adjust table volume, dealer personas, branded settings and language options. It also supports continuous gameplay without staffing limits, which could appeal to operators that want live casino style games but need more control over scale and cost.
The product comes from Sunny, the AI blackjack dealer BetHog launched in October 2025. Sunny now supports 12 languages, with Baccarat and Roulette planned for later in the year.
“We’ve tested our basic AI dealer over the past six months and have discovered that it is 10x more popular than its live dealer equivalent. In addition, we’ve seen better retention and player satisfaction,” said Nigel Eccles, CEO and co-founder of BetHog.
Still, AI live dealers face a real test. Live casino players often trust human dealers, physical equipment and visible studio settings. Regulators may also ask hard questions around game integrity, data privacy and transparency. Operators will also need clean contracts around copyright and intellectual property before using synthetic dealer products in live markets.
