Cambodia hosted the first Gods of Poker festival in Phnom Penh from March 26 to April 5, with play held at NagaWorld. Over the run, Kunal Patni won the Main Event and Martijn Gerrits became back-to-back winnner of the Player of the Series crown. GOP now shifts to Incheon, South Korea, for its next stop in May.
Good to Know

By the time cards stopped flying in Phnom Penh, two names sat above the rest. Kunal Patni left with the black-and-gold Main Event title, while Martijn Gerrits locked up another Player of the Series win after another long run through side events. That gave the Cambodia stop a clean finish and gave GOP another result it can carry into the next Asian festival.
Patni took down the Main Event for his first live career main event title. The event drew 289 entries, paid out from a $500,000 prize pool, and ended with Patni collecting $109,540. In his post-win interview, Patni summed it up in one word: “YES!!”
Runner-up Miyoung Cho picked up $66,980 after another deep finish. Feng Yang placed third for $45,515, followed by Rohit with $33,135 and Murata Haruto with $25,330. The rest of the final-table payouts went to Peng Sen Wu, Wei Yan, Alen Bakovic, and Ngoc Khanh Le.
| Result | Player | Prize |
|---|---|---|
| 1st | Kunal Patni | $109,540 |
| 2nd | Miyoung Cho | $66,980 |
| 3rd | Feng Yang | $45,515 |
| 4th | Rohit | $33,135 |
| 5th | Murata Haruto | $25,330 |
| 6th | Peng Sen Wu | $20,080 |
| 7th | Wei Yan | $16,370 |
| 8th | Alen Bakovic | $13,650 |
| 9th | Le Ngoc Khanh | $11,595 |

Away from the Main Event, Martijn Gerrits kept adding to a strong run on the circuit. Fresh off a GOP Taipei POS win, the Dutchman cashed 16 times in Phnom Penh and collected 6 trophies, enough to close with 25,637 points. Gerrits now owns 11 GOP trophies and two POS crowns. Jun Yan Kok finished second in the race, with Alfie Adam taking third.
The Phnom Penh stop also produced more headline winners near the end of the schedule. Daniel Neilson won the GOP High Roller and grabbed the silver gauntlet plus $14,400, again denying Miyoung Cho after her Main Event runner-up finish. In the Kraken Stack, Patrik Selin came through after an ICM deal heads-up and took the trophy with $10,090, while Wah Yan Chow earned $9,073.
Gods of Poker framed the wider 2026 season around its Cronus Structure, a format the brand says is built to reward skill, patience, and deeper play rather than late-reg chaos. Phnom Penh was listed as one of the new stops on that 2026 map, and Incheon is next. Paradise City will host GOP Incheon from May 15 to 24, with 83 events scheduled and a $700,000 guaranteed Main Event. You can find the full schedule here.
