Good to Know
Pennsylvania gaming operators closed November with $623.1 million in total revenue. That figure pushed past the previous high of $601.8 million set in May and came despite November having one fewer day than October.
Data from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board showed total revenue rising 10.8% from the same month last year. The total combined earnings from retail slot machines, table games, online casino gaming, retail and online sports betting, fantasy contests, and video gaming terminals.
The performance followed October, when online casino operators posted a record $251.1 million. Momentum carried into November and reshaped the monthly leaderboard.
Online casino revenue reached $242.7 million in November, climbing 21% year over year. Results dipped slightly from October by about $8.4 million, largely due to the shorter month rather than softer play.
Online slots accounted for $185.4 million across the state. Digital table games followed with $55.1 million, while online poker added $2.3 million.
iGaming tax payments totaled $109.2 million. That amount made up 41.9% of all gaming taxes collected during the month and represented 39% of total operator gaming revenue.
Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course led the online casino field with $91.3 million. That license supports DraftKings Casino, BetMGM Casino, and the Hollywood Casino online brand. Valley Forge Casino Resort reported $70.9 million through FanDuel Casino. Rivers Casino Philadelphia followed with $38.2 million, while Harrah’s Philadelphia posted $13.4 million through Caesars Palace Online.
Retail casino revenue moved lower compared to last year. Slot machines generated $201.2 million, down 0.1%. Table games produced $74.7 million, falling 3.6%.
Parx Casino topped the state in slot machine revenue for November. Wind Creek Bethlehem reported the highest table game revenue during the month.
The split between online growth and retail softness continues to define the Pennsylvania gaming market.
Sports wagering delivered a new handle record at $990.6 million in November. Total sports betting revenue reached $98.3 million.
Fantasy sports contests produced $2.5 million, growing 2.8% from last year. DraftKings led the segment with $1.74 million. FanDuel followed at $567,000, while Underdog reported $213,000.
Video gaming terminals located at regulated truck stops generated $3.53 million. That figure marked an 8.9% increase from November 2024.
Pennsylvania collected $260.9 million in gaming tax revenue during November. Contributions came from online casino gaming, retail casinos, sports betting, fantasy contests, and video gaming terminals.
Online casino play once again supplied the largest share of tax receipts, reinforcing its role as the main growth engine for the state.
