FanDuel is strengthening its footprint in West Virginia after signing a new market access agreement with Delaware North. The deal ties into Delaware North’s Mardi Gras Casino & Resort, adding more weight to FanDuel’s iGaming and online sports betting presence in the state.
Good to Know
The agreement blends FanDuel’s sports betting platform and brand power with Delaware North’s long history in hospitality and gaming. FanDuel will continue operating the sportsbook at Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs while broadening its reach through Mardi Gras Casino & Resort.
“Delaware North has been a respected name in gaming and hospitality for decades, and they are an ideal partner as we continue to operate in West Virginia,” said Jonathan Edson, FanDuel SVP of Business Development.
Lee Terfloth, Chief Interactive iGaming Officer at Delaware North, expressed enthusiasm about extending the relationship:
“We love working with FanDuel and are very proud to be partnered together in West Virginia. This partnership represents the best of what Delaware North strives for, bringing trusted, innovative experiences to our customers – and FanDuel is an incredible ally in that mission.”
Beyond West Virginia, FanDuel is eyeing further growth. On August 15, 2025, the operator secured market access in Missouri through a partnership with St. Louis City SC, the state’s MLS franchise. At the same time, FanDuel has been diversifying its product lineup, most recently launching FanDuel Picks, a peer-to-peer fantasy sports game available in 17 states.
FanDuel Picks lets players choose three to six athletes, select “more” or “less” on stat projections, and place wagers based on their predictions. It’s part of the company’s broader push to deliver new interactive gaming formats alongside traditional sportsbook offerings.
