Svenska Spel Sport & Casino has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Robert Nygren as the new Head of Sales and Marketing. Responsible for well-known brands including Stryktipset and Oddset, Robert officially stepped into the role on August 18, 2025, reporting directly to CEO Fredrik Wastensson.

Robert’s career blends engineering precision with creative leadership. Trained as a civil engineer, he first worked as a project manager in advertising before shifting client-side with If and later Telenor. At If, he built a Nordic in-house agency from the ground up, while at Telenor he managed brand strategy and creative direction during periods of strong growth.
