High 5 Games Regains B2B License in Connecticut

High 5 Games has had its B2B license reinstated in Connecticut after completing a regulatory review by the state’s Department of Consumer Protection. The investigation found no ongoing legal violations, clearing the company to resume its business-to-business activities in the state.

Good to know

  • High 5 Games exited Connecticut’s direct-to-consumer market earlier this year.
  • The company paid nearly $1.5 million in a settlement, including restitution and penalties.
  • Geo-blocking and improved KYC tools are now in place for compliance.

Back in March 2025, the DCP suspended High 5 Games’ license after it found the company had been operating an unlicensed online casino. A settlement followed, totaling nearly $1.5 million. Of that, over $643,000 went directly to players, and almost $800,000 was allocated to consumer protection efforts.

Before that review even began, High 5 Games had already started pulling out of all U.S. regulated iGaming states, including Connecticut. That process was completed by January 2025, and the company made it clear that it would not be returning to the sweepstakes space with any direct-to-consumer offerings.

Now, with the review finalized and no new issues identified, High 5 Games can once again supply slot content to licensed platforms in Connecticut. The company has also strengthened its compliance measures, working with Xpoint on geo-blocking technology and improving Know Your Customer systems to match Connecticut’s standards.

CEO Tony Singer acknowledged the challenges of the process while reaffirming the company’s position. “While we may not agree with every interpretation, we have always cooperated fully and acted in good faith,” he said. “We operate with integrity, within the law, and with deep respect for the licenses we hold. We respect the Department of Consumer Protection and the important work they do to uphold the integrity of Connecticut’s gaming market.”

With the license reinstated, High 5 Games is focusing solely on B2B operations in Connecticut, leaving its direct-to-consumer chapter in the past.
