Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel has received the title of Tribal Gaming Operator of the Year at the SBC Awards Americas, hosted at the Hard Rock Hotel in Fort Lauderdale. The award highlights the casino’s commitment to innovation, community service, and responsible operations.
The recognition comes in part due to several standout features. These include the AI-powered Aescape massage technology at Spa Ssakwa’q’n, the virtual golf experience at Circling Raven Golf Suites, and the Discovery Den—a dedicated space where guests can try out new gaming machines.
Another major factor was the casino’s deep investment in community welfare. The Coeur d’Alene Tribe has given over $36.5 million to support education, healthcare, and nonprofit organizations. This ongoing commitment played a central role in the casino receiving the award.
CEO Laura Penney said, “We’re honored to be recognized by SBC. This award reflects our ongoing commitment to service, innovation, and community.”
The property itself includes 300 guest rooms, a large video gaming floor with 1,200 machines, a bingo hall for high-stakes play, and a 15,000-square-foot spa. Multiple dining options are available, with a new taco-themed restaurant expected to open this summer.
