Top-performing casinos in April
Among the 13 casinos that report to the Missouri Gaming Commission, Ameristar Casino Resort St. Charles led with $26.2 million in revenue for April 2025, a 9% rise over last year. Close behind were River City Casino Hotel with $22.6 million (up 7%) and Hollywood Casino St. Louis with $21.7 million (up 10%).
Harrah’s Kansas City saw the most dramatic growth, bringing in just over $18.8 million in revenue—a 47% year-over-year increase. Century Casino Caruthersville also had a strong month, jumping 19% to reach $4.8 million in April.
A few casinos post declines
Only three casinos reported lower numbers compared to last year. Argosy Casino Riverside dropped 4% to $13.4 million, Century Casino Cape was down 11% to $5.4 million, and Mark Twain Casino fell 4% to $2.8 million.
Despite these drops, the overall performance across the state remained positive, with most properties gaining traction both in table and slot game activity.
Casinos across Missouri recorded $1.5 billion in slot handle for April 2025, resulting in a 9.6% win rate. Table game drop came in at $123.4 million, with a higher win percentage of 22.9%. These figures highlight strong player engagement and solid house performance.
