Spribe Accuses PopOk Gaming of Aviator Trademark Infringement

The Polish game producer Spribe has asked its operators and partners to check if their platforms have an unapproved version of their Aviator crash game. To prevent possible legal repercussions, the corporation maintains that any illegal versions must be taken down right away.

The business has said unequivocally that any unapproved distribution of Aviator is a blatant infringement on its rights. On January 1, Spribe issued a warning on social media that certain third parties are making fraudulent claims to be providing the real Aviator game. The business named PopOk Gaming in particular as one of the companies releasing an Aviator variant that is very similar to the original.

“It has come to our attention that unauthorized third parties are trying to reach some of our clients and sell them an ‘Aviator’ game with a very similar concept and design, claiming that it is the authentic Aviator game. This includes a game which is being distributed by PopOk Gaming,” Spribe stated.

Since its 2018 launch, Aviator has gained widespread popularity, making it one of Spribe’s flagship products.

PopOk Gaming Claims Aviator as Its Own

Despite Spribe’s warnings, PopOk Gaming announced on January 20 that it was the “official provider of Aviator.” In its press release, the company stated that the game would be fully integrated into its platform, ensuring its availability to global partners.

Tsovinar Elchyan, head of partner management at PopOk Gaming, expressed excitement about the collaboration. “We are delighted to join forces with Aviator, a game that is a sensation worldwide. By integrating it into PopOK Gaming’s platform, we are confident in delivering more value to our partners and an unmatched experience to players.”

At present, PopOk Gaming prominently features Aviator’s logo and graphics on its website and social media platforms.

Spribe has reaffirmed its commitment to protecting its intellectual property and warned operators against hosting unlicensed versions of Aviator.

“Please be informed that we are taking these matters very seriously and will not tolerate any infringement of our intellectual property rights. In addition to our rights against PopOK, any operator or partner hosting or distributing these games will be in direct violation of our rights and may be subject to legal action,” the company stated.
