In just one day, it is time for the comeback of APPT to Manila for the fifteenth edition of APPT Manila. This edition is going to be bigger than ever, with an action-packed schedule of 77 events running from Wednesday, July 24 to Monday, August 5.
Buy-ins start at PHP20,000 for the series’ first event, the Early Bird, with PHP1M guaranteed, and go up to PHP500,000 for the APPT Super High Roller starting on Wednesday, July 31, and even PHP1M for the APPT One Million Challenge taking place on August 1!
This year’s Main Event will kick off on August 1 and has a buy-in of PHP80,000. There will be three Day 1 flights, with the final two days being played out on August 4 and August 5, featuring a prize pool of PHP55M guaranteed.
With 74 events, the series offers plenty of games from midday all the way into the early mornings. There are daily (hyper) turbo tournaments to end the day, PLO tournaments, a mystery bounty, and several high roller events.
This year’s APPT is unlike previous years, not only offering better guaranteed prizes and a revamped schedule but also being held at the beautiful Cove inside the Okada Manila, which for two weeks is exclusively PokerStars APPT Manila terrain. Associate Director of Live Events at PokerStars, Cedric Billot, had previously said that he wants the 2024 APPT Manila to be remembered as a big moment in Asian poker history, and everything surely seems to be pointing in that direction.
