WPT Global Expands Summer Festival to $8 Million Guarantee

WPT Global has increased the guarantee for its upcoming Summer Festival from $7 million to a record-breaking $8 million. The festival aims to be the biggest online poker series on the platform. Additionally, each champion of the Preheat Festival will receive a $220 seat in the Summer Festival Championship, adding over $35,000 in value.

The Summer Festival marks a milestone for WPT Global, surpassing previous events like the $4 million Winter Series and the $7 million Spring Festival. This series provides players the unique opportunity to become a WPT Champion from home.

Preheat Festival

The Preheat Festival, running from July 12-21, offers $3 million in guarantees across 160 tournaments. Each champion wins a seat in the $220 Summer Festival Main Event. Key events include:

• $220 Championship, $300,000 GTD: Starts with a flight on the first day, followed by multiple flights leading to Day 2.
• $22 Mini Championship, $80,000 GTD: Features numerous starting flights and the Best Stack Forward format.
