Lottomatica H1 Revenue Reaches €1.18 Billion

Lottomatica Group reported higher first-half revenue and profit as online gambling offset weaker retail results. Digital operations generated 44% of group revenue and delivered the strongest margin growth during the six months to June 30, 2026.

Good to Know

  • Online revenue rose 13% to €525.1 million.
  • Group adjusted EBITDA increased 10% to €465.3 million.
  • Lottomatica expects 2026 EBITDA near the top of its €940 million to €980 million range.

Online Margin Reaches 57.9%

Online adjusted EBITDA climbed 21% to €303.9 million, while the margin improved from 54.1% to 57.9%. Revenue growth reached 17% after normalising sports betting payout levels.

Lottomatica also increased its total online market share to 31.6% in the second quarter, up 1.1 percentage points from a year earlier. Online gaming share reached 31.6%, while online sports betting remained above 30%.

Planetwin365 recorded a 9.2% total sports betting share after Lottomatica transferred the former SKS365 business onto its own technology platform. The company said the result exceeded the level recorded before migration.

Group revenue increased 5% to €1.18 billion, supported by €23.7 billion in bets. Gross gaming revenue reached €2.41 billion, up 2%. Adjusted net profit rose 10% to €196.5 million, while reported net profit increased from €68.2 million to €116 million.

Retail Revenue Falls Despite Higher Demand

Sports Franchise revenue declined 1% to €275.4 million after customer friendly sports results reduced operator hold. On a normalised payout basis, revenue would have increased 9%.

Gaming Franchise revenue fell 2% to €380 million. However, stronger online returns lifted the overall adjusted EBITDA margin from 37.4% to 39.4%.

Operating cash flow rose 12% to €385.5 million. Net financial debt remained broadly unchanged at €2.11 billion, while leverage declined from 2.4 times to 2.3 times.

Lottomatica spent €248.1 million on share repurchases and €100.6 million on dividends during the half. The group also issued €765 million in secured notes due in 2032 and repaid €400 million of floating rate debt.

“The second quarter of 2026 continues to show our ‘consistency in growth’ on all key financial and business metrics,” Chairman and CEO Guglielmo Angelozzi said.
