Veikkaus Signs Gaming Corps Slots Deal Ahead Of July 2027

Veikkaus has signed a content partnership with Gaming Corps ahead of Finland opening online casino and betting to licensed competition on July 1, 2027. The agreement will initially bring slots from the Swedish developer to Veikkaus players.

Good to know

  • We reported today that Finland has approved 12 gambling licences. Veikkaus has applied but has not yet received approval.
  • The initial rollout focuses on slots, with scope to add other game formats later.
  • Veikkaus serves close to 2.7 million registered customers.

The supply agreement forms part of preparations for competition, separate from the licensing process. Veikkaus will lose its online casino and betting exclusivity when the new system begins.

Gaming Corps brings a slots catalogue that includes its 3 Pigs franchise. Future additions could draw from table, mine, plinko and multiplier games, plus proprietary products Smash4Cash™, A-MAZE-CADES™ and X-MY-WAY™.

“Gaming Corps has been superb to work with, delivering its content in record time and with real precision. That speed and execution is hugely valuable to us, and their arrival comes at a great time as we continue preparing for the changes ahead in Finland.”

Gaming Corps Chief Commercial Officer Graham Greensmith pointed to the range of gameplay formats as an advantage ahead of greater competition.

Veikkaus has operated for more than 85 years. Alongside its online business, the state-owned operator runs Casino Helsinki and 44 gaming arcades.
