G2E 2026 Opens Expo Floor With More Than 400 Exhibitors

G2E 2026 is underway at The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas, bringing more than 25,000 gaming professionals together for four days covering regulation, casino technology, iGaming and sports betting.

AI Gets A Bigger Role At G2E

G2E has given business technology more floor space in 2026 through a new Business Solutions & Tech Zone.

The area covers artificial intelligence, data analytics, cybersecurity, payments, CRM, workforce technology and marketing tools. G2E organizers designed it for teams across casino operations, finance, IT, digital, HR and marketing rather than only traditional gaming suppliers.

AI also appears throughout the education schedule. Sessions cover AI readiness, automation in iGaming, fraud prevention and the practical use of new technology inside gaming businesses.

That technology focus sits alongside more familiar G2E areas covering slots, table games, sportsbooks and online casino platforms.

Meanwhile, some of the largest US casino operators are using the conference to discuss a very different issue.

MGM Resorts International CEO Bill Hornbuckle, Caesars Entertainment CEO Tom Reeg and Wynn Resorts CEO Craig Billings feature in the Main Stage program covering the global gaming business, Las Vegas, international markets and technology. BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt also joins Wayne Gretzky for a discussion connecting sports, betting and digital gaming.

Prediction Markets Bring Regulatory Fight To Las Vegas

Sports prediction markets have become one of the more contentious topics around G2E.

Nevada regulators and traditional gaming companies argue that platforms offering sports event contracts should follow state gambling rules. Prediction market operators maintain that their contracts fall under federal commodities regulation.

Kalshi is not exhibiting at G2E, but the dispute surrounding the company and similar platforms runs through the conference agenda.

A Main Stage discussion called The Power of Unity Confronting the Prediction Markets Challenge brings American Gaming Association President and CEO Bill Miller together with UNITE HERE International Union President Gwen Mills, Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation Chairman Rodney Butler and Nevada Representative Steven Horsford.

The discussion focuses on state gaming authority, tribal sovereignty and the legal framework surrounding prediction markets.

G2E arrives while those questions are playing out in courts across the US, giving the conference debate a direct connection to the future structure of regulated sports betting.

Away from regulation, G2E has also brought back its Dealer Championship for a second year. Eligibility now covers dealers working for regulated casino operators in the US, Canada and Mexico. Competitors take part in blackjack and roulette challenges during the event.

The expo floor opened Tuesday, September 29, and remains open through Thursday, October 1. Education sessions run through Wednesday. G2E also includes the iGaming Hub, New Exhibitor Zone, Networking Lounge and Media Zone.
