Nevada Casino Revenue Reaches $1.38 Billion In July

Nevada casinos generated $1.38 billion in gaming win during July 2026, up 2.1% year over year, as stronger Las Vegas Strip table play offset declines in several other Clark County markets.

Strip casinos won $776.3 million, up 3.6%, helped by much heavier baccarat betting and a busy entertainment calendar.

Baccarat Drives Las Vegas Strip Growth

Table betting provided the clearest strength on the Strip. J.P. Morgan analyst Daniel Politzer said table drop jumped 24% from July 2025, while baccarat volume increased 43%.

Politzer said:

“We note July table drop was the highest of 2026, likely driven by a strong entertainment calendar; historically, July was among the seasonally softest months for table drop.”

Slot handle also increased 4.8%, accelerating from 1% growth in June.

Results elsewhere were mixed. Downtown Las Vegas gaming win fell 8.6% to $68.5 million, while the Boulder Strip declined 2.5%. Washoe County performed better, rising 2.9% to $105.8 million, while South Lake Tahoe gained 5.1%.

Visitor numbers provided another positive indicator. Las Vegas welcomed about 3.2 million visitors in July, up 2.7%. Hotel occupancy reached 77.2%, while average daily room rates increased 1.8% to $157.45.

However, convention attendance fell 5.6% and Harry Reid International Airport passenger traffic dropped 7.6%.

Nevada collected $98.5 million in percentage fees during August based on July taxable gaming revenue, up 3.4% year over year.
