Hard Rock Bet Player Wins Record $2.95 Million New Jersey Jackpot

A New Jersey player has won $2,949,857.40 at Hard Rock Bet Online Casino from a single $2 spin, setting a new operator record. Rose M. of Linden landed the Mega Jackpot on August 14 while playing Long Xing Da Da from White Hat Studios.

Good to Know

  • The $2.95 million payout is the largest jackpot in Hard Rock Bet Online Casino history.
  • New Jersey has produced four Hard Rock Bet Mega Jackpot winners since the product launched in April.
  • The previous record was $2,097,043.30, paid on July 4.

Four New Jersey Mega Winners in Four Months

Rose broke the Hard Rock Bet record only six weeks after another New Jersey player became the first to collect more than $2 million from the Mega Jackpot.

The run began on May 11, when Deborah S. of South Plainfield won $1,942,272.47. Another player collected $1,937,382.05 in June before the July 4 payout reached $2,097,043.30. Rose then raised the record by more than $850,000.

“When the notification popped up I dismissed it because I was mid spin,” Rose said. “When I saw my balance increase I thought there was a glitch.”

Hard Rock Bet operates four progressive levels in New Jersey, covering Mini, Minor, Major and Mega. Players can enter the jackpot network through eligible slots while the underlying game continues normally.

One detail differs from earlier information released about the feature. Hard Rock Bet now states that New Jersey players opt in by adding $0.10 to the base wager, rather than $0.20. Bet size does not change the jackpot odds once the feature is active. The Mega resets at $100,000 after a win.

Hard Rock Bet currently offers online casino gaming in New Jersey and Michigan. The Michigan Mega uses a lower $5,000 starting level, while the larger New Jersey seed allows its top progressive pool to build much further between wins.
