Station Casinos is using its 50th anniversary to refresh its look while keeping the focus on Las Vegas locals. The new campaign, From Vegas. For Vegas. Always Vegas, went live around the July 1 milestone.
Good to know
Station Casinos built its name around local players, not Strip tourists. The 50 year brand refresh keeps that message front and center.
The new logo pulls from the company archive, including 1970s Bingo Palace design, vintage playing cards, casino chips, matchbooks, and roadside sign art. The Bingo Palace arch also returns in a new form, giving the identity a clear link to the property that became Palace Station in 1984.
The New Company worked with the in house Station Casinos marketing team on the redesign. The visual system mixes a stronger sans serif look with softer serif details, according to the company statement.
“As we celebrate 50 years in Las Vegas, this new logo is a meaningful nod to where we began and the local community that has been part of our story from the start,” Frank Fertitta IV, Executive Vice President of Operations at Station Casinos, said.
“While our brand identity is evolving, our commitment to serving locals with great value, genuine hospitality, and a place to come together for another 50 years remains as strong as ever,” he added.
The celebration also reaches beyond the logo. Station Casinos rolled out broadcast ads, social media activations, photo booths, custom merchandise, and drone and fireworks shows. Palace Station hosted an anniversary fireworks display, with more Fourth of July fireworks planned at six larger properties.
The company story began on July 1, 1976, when Frank Fertitta Jr. opened a 5,000 square foot venue called The Casino. It became Bingo Palace in 1977, then Palace Station in 1984.
Today, Station Casinos operates seven casino resorts across Southern Nevada, including Durango, Red Rock Resort, and Green Valley Ranch. It also manages the Wildfire and Seventy Six tavern brands.
A limited 50th anniversary collection adds casino chips, Boarding Pass cards, and retail merchandise for guests who want a keepsake from the milestone.
