Harmony of the Seas Returns With Royal Caribbean Fleet Leading Casino

Royal Caribbean has made casino gaming a much bigger part of Harmony of the Seas after a major drydock refurbishment. The ship now features the biggest casino across the company fleet of 28 ships, giving players more floor space, more slot machines, and a wider table game lineup.

The new casino sits inside a reworked Deck 4 entertainment zone. Royal Caribbean removed several older venues, including the Attic comedy club, to build out the enlarged gaming area. The result is a casino floor with around 37 table games and more than 500 slot machines, which puts Harmony of the Seas ahead of newer Royal Caribbean ships on casino scale.

However, the refit went well beyond gambling. Royal Caribbean rebuilt the pool decks with a Caribbean-style outdoor setup built around The Lime & Coconut, the cruise line multi-level bar. The ship also added a sports bar and arcade, while a new tiki bar concept replaced the earlier robotic cocktail stations.

Those additions give the ship more casual food choices and a stronger specialty dining mix, which helps Royal Caribbean keep the vessel fresh in a crowded cruise market.

Some spaces changed locations during the project. The Crown Lounge moved to Deck 15, taking over the former teen club area. The new location gives guests higher ocean views and a more open feel.

Royal Caribbean also added nearly 100 new staterooms inside the ship structure. The new rooms include forward-facing panoramic suites above the bridge, with floor-to-ceiling views over the ocean.

Harmony of the Seas has returned for summer sailings in the Western Mediterranean, with stops in Spain, France, and Italy. After Europe, the ship will cross the Atlantic and homeport at Port Canaveral for year-round Bahamas and Caribbean cruises. routes.
