DigiPlus Partners with Manny Pacquiao for Games and Payments

DigiPlus has rolled out a new partnership with Manny Pacquiao as the company adds branded content, payment integration, and marketing support across key parts of its digital gaming business in the Philippines.

DigiPlus Adds Pacquiao Across Content and Payments

DigiPlus announced the deal during a signing event at Shangri-La The Fort in BGC. Rather than limit the tie-up to a standard endorsement, the company is building several products and services around the Pacquiao name.

Pacquiao brings one of the strongest records in boxing. He won world titles in eight weight classes, finished his professional career with 62 wins, 8 losses, and 2 draws, and recorded 39 knockout wins. He also held major titles across four different decades, which helped turn him into one of the most recognizable sports figures in the Philippines.

A big part of the plan centers on content. DigiPlus said it will release nine gaming titles based on Manny Pacquiao, using game mechanics that already perform well in the local market. The company said the titles will draw from moments in his career and from what it described as his fighting spirit.

“This collaboration allows us to combine the legendary story of our boxing hero with our robust technological infrastructure,” DigiPlus Chairman Eusebio H. Tanco said.

The agreement also reaches into payments. DigiPlus named MannyPay as its first official gaming partner for payment integration, with a focus on smoother transactions and same-day settlements for players.

“Whether it is through the games that tell my story, or handling payments with MannyPay, we are showing the world what Filipinos are capable of,” Pacquiao said.

Pacquiao will also take on a broader public role for the group. He is set to serve as official brand ambassador for ArenaPlus, the sportsbook of DigiPlus, and for GameZone, which focuses on card and table game tournaments.

DigiPlus added that the MannyPay link will follow PAGCOR requirements and route player transactions through BSP accredited channels, putting security and compliance at the center of the rollout.
