Gamanza Group has strengthened its position in the Swiss online casino market through a partnership with Casino Locarno for the Casineo brand. The deal puts Gamanza technology at the center of a new licensed online casino operation in Switzerland, with the launch going live in March 2026.
Good to Know
Casineo gives Casino Locarno a first online casino operation under its land-based licence, and Gamanza is supplying the full platform behind it. That includes compliance tools, responsible gaming functions, payments, data management, and front-end delivery across web and mobile. In a market like Switzerland, where rules are tight and licensing standards are high, that full-service setup matters.
The partnership also says something about where the Swiss market is heading. Switzerland has kept a narrow and closely supervised online casino framework, so operators entering digital channels need technology built around control, reporting, player protection, and local compliance from the start. Gamanza already works with other operators in the country, which helps explain why Casino Locarno picked a provider with experience in highly regulated environments.
Tero Vienonen, Managing Director of Gamanza Group, said:
“Casineo is exactly the kind of operator we built our platform for – an ambitious new brand entering the online casino space in one of Europe’s most demanding regulatory markets.
“Switzerland sets an exceptionally high bar for compliance and operational precision, and our technology is designed to meet that standard from day one. We’re proud to support Casineo in launching with a seamless and fully compliant player experience.”
Casineo leadership made a similar point. Michael Boyschau, Director, Casineo, said:
“Switzerland is one of the most demanding markets in which to launch an online operation. Gamanza gave us the platform foundations and the regulatory confidence to do it properly, and the partnership throughout the process has been exactly what we needed.”
A key part of the rollout is Gamanza Engage. That product gives Casineo a way to handle CRM, loyalty tools, and gamification without straying outside regulatory limits. For online casino operators in Switzerland, player retention cannot rely only on aggressive bonus activity, so compliant personalization has become more important.
Simon Pukl, Director of Product and Business Development at Gamanza Core, said:
“Switzerland’s regulatory landscape sets one of the highest standards for online operators, and we’re proud to support Casinò Locarno with a platform built specifically for such environments.
“Our proprietary PAM solution seamlessly brings together compliance, responsible gaming, payments, and front-end delivery in one flexible platform, enabling Casineo to operate a scalable online business. We’re pleased to support Casineo’s brand and product vision and look forward to a long-term partnership.”
Nathalie Haspel, Head of Online Gaming at Casineo, commented that the CRM and gamification side will help the brand build player relationships the right way, saying:
“Building genuine player relationships in a regulated market requires more than promotions. Gamanza Engage gives us the CRM and gamification tools to create personalised, compliant experiences that keep players engaged for the right reasons.”
