Report Shows That Drake Wins Four Times More on Stake Than Average Player

An investigation by Bloomberg reviewed thousands of hours of gambling livestreams and found that Drake wins on Stake slot games at a rate far above the typical player. Drake regularly livestreams his gambling sessions on Stake, a cryptocurrency sweepstakes casino operated by Easygo. According to the Bloomberg review, when Drake played slot titles developed by Easygo, his win frequency stood far above the platform average.

By contrast, when he streamed gambling sessions on other platforms, his win rate aligned with that of regular players.

That difference formed the core of the investigation.

Bloomberg reported that Drake won twice as often as the next luckiest player among the 25 accounts studied. Stake disputed the conclusions and said the report was “categorically incorrect.”

Ed Craven, co founder of Stake, addressed speculation about influencer advantages in a blog post. He said:

“Despite certain widespread notions of odds being rigged in some people’s favor or money not being real, we have no direct control of the odds of any of our games.”

Stake operates using provably fair gaming mechanics, a model commonly promoted within crypto casino platforms. Under that system, outcomes rely on cryptographic verification rather than manual adjustment. Still, public perception often shifts when high profile influencers post repeated big wins during livestreams.

Outside of Stake slots, Drake betting history shows mixed results.

During the last Super Bowl, he revealed a $1 million bet on the New England Patriots. In an Instagram post dated Feb. 7, he told followers to “Bet against me if you dare” while tagging Stake. Had the Patriots won, the payout would have reached $2.95 million. Instead, the Seattle Seahawks won 29 to 13, and this bet lost. Not short after Drake came out and said to outright stop betting.

In another year, Drake placed a $1.15 million bet on the Kansas City Chiefs to defeat the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl. That wager paid out. He has also publicly lost $1 million on the Toronto Maple Leafs, $800,000 on the NBA Finals, and backed Jannik Sinner to win the US Open in a bet that did not succeed.

Those swings contributed to the so called Drake Curse narrative, where fans suggest teams or athletes he supports fail to win. The phrase circulates widely across social media whenever one of his public bets loses.

The Bloomberg findings now add another layer to that public conversation. When Drake streams slot games built by Easygo, he appears to outperform statistical expectations based on the reviewed footage. When he plays elsewhere, results look typical.

Stake strongly denies any preferential treatment.
