The 2026 World Series of Poker will return to Las Vegas with a full summer schedule, continuing the long running tournament tradition that draws players from across the global poker community.
Good to Know
Action will once again take place at Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas along the Strip, where organizers plan a schedule designed to build on momentum generated during a record setting 2025 season. That year ended with GGPoker ambassador Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi winning the Main Event and collecting a $10,000,000 prize.
Opening day arrives May 26 with a refreshed lineup and expanded access to popular events. Additional starting flights have been added across several bracelet tournaments, giving players more chances to enter marquee competitions.
Daily coverage will stream free on the official WSOP YouTube channel from opening day through the start of the Main Event. Broadcasts will feature an updated television set inside Paris Las Vegas along with familiar poker commentators.
Centerpiece tournament remains the $10,000 No Limit Holdem World Championship. Cards go in the air July 2, with play continuing until the final table is reached July 13. Details tied to final table scheduling and broadcast plans will be released later.
Organizers aim to widen access for international qualifiers through online pathways, allowing players to secure seats through GGPoker satellites or WSOP Online in the United States.
Daniel Negreanu, GGPoker Global Ambassador and seven time WSOP bracelet winner, said:
“GGPoker’s WSOP Express satellites allow enthusiasts all over the world to follow in the footsteps of their heroes. Whether you are an international player qualifying via GGPoker or a domestic U.S. player winning your seat via WSOP Online, we want to see you taking your shot at the gold in 2026!”
Schedule mixes elite buy ins with accessible tournaments designed to serve every segment of the poker ecosystem.
Highlighted events include:
New additions also appear across the calendar. Mini Mystery Millions opens the series May 26 with a $550 entry and a guaranteed $1 million bounty prize. GGMillion$ High Roller arrives May 31 with two starting flights, while a U.S. Circuit Championship event follows June 2 after strong reception at WSOP Paradise. Variants such as Five Card Pot Limit Omaha and “Pick Your PLO” expand mixed game representation later in the summer.
For the first time, a WSOP Circuit will begin while Las Vegas remains in peak tournament mode. Circuit action will run July 14 through July 25, extending the festival atmosphere beyond the bracelet schedule.
Ty Stewart, Chief Executive Officer of the World Series of Poker, said:
“As we saw in 2025, thousands of incredible stories are waiting to be told at the World Series of Poker. We’re more committed than ever to being poker’s unquestioned biggest stage and to shining a brighter spotlight on our favorite game.”
Jack Effel, Senior Vice President of Poker Operations at Caesars Entertainment and longtime WSOP tournament director, said:
“Our favorite time of year is around the corner, and we cannot wait to once again welcome the poker world back to the Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas. This summer’s World Series of Poker promises more action and more opportunities to play your favorite events than ever before, from the first ‘Shuffle Up and Deal!’ to the crowning of the Main Event champion.”
