BetMGM closed 2025 with a strong showing in online casino play, paying out $122.1 million in progressive jackpots across its regulated markets. The year ended with a Michigan online casino player landing a $900,000 win in December after an $8 spin on Bison Fury, adding one more headline moment to an already busy year.
Michigan finished as the largest contributor to progressive jackpot payouts, generating $42.6 million in winnings. Pennsylvania followed with $29.7 million, while New Jersey players collected $23.5 million. Ontario rounded out the top group with C$29.5 million, or roughly $21.5 million, and West Virginia accounted for $5 million.
Several standout wins helped shape the year. In April, an Ontario player won C$1.6 million on MGM Grand Millions, marking the largest BetMGM jackpot recorded in the province. New Jersey also delivered a near seven-figure moment, with a player winning just under $1 million on Independence Pays. Another Ontario player added a C$1.1 million win on Jellyfish Jackpots.
Good to Know
BetMGM tied much of its jackpot success to branded and exclusive content rolled out during the year. According to the operator, well-known slot titles and licensed casino games played a central role in keeping players engaged across multiple markets.
“In 2025, BetMGM brought big names to iGaming – from the Wizard of Oz slots and Rakin’ Bacon to branded Price is Right casino games. Jackpots transformed gameplay into legendary moments for our players and continues to be one of the ways we leverage our exclusive relationship with MGM Resorts International,” said Oliver Bartlett, BetMGM vice president of gaming.
Momentum carried into early 2026 as well. BetMGM pointed to another Michigan player who won $600,000 from a $2 spin on MegaJackpots Cash Eruption just days into the new year.
Away from casino play, BetMGM also expanded its sports marketing presence. Earlier this week, the operator confirmed a new partnership with the NHL St. Louis Blues. The agreement places BetMGM branding throughout the Enterprise Center and across team social media channels and hospitality activations.
“BetMGM has forged iconic partnerships that celebrate Missouri rich sports tradition, and welcoming the St. Louis Blues is an exciting milestone,” said Matt Prevost, BetMGM chief revenue officer. “With St. Louis native Jon Hamm as the face of our brand and a legendary franchise like the Blues as our partner, we’re creating unforgettable experiences for fans across the Show-Me State.”
