IGT Names Andy Hendrickson Chief Product and Technology Officer

IGT announced that Hendrickson will expand his responsibilities to serve as Chief Product and Technology Officer, subject to receipt of all required regulatory approvals. He previously held the role of Chief Technology Officer after joining the combined IGT and Everi enterprise in 2025.

Hendrickson said the expanded role allows him to apply a broader leadership lens across the business.

Before joining IGT, Hendrickson served as Chief Technology Officer at a major global competitor within the gaming sector. Earlier in his career, he held the role of Chief Technology Officer at Activision Publishing, where he led technology teams behind widely known console franchises including Call of Duty, Crash Bandicoot, and Sekiro.

His career also includes senior leadership roles in film and animation. At Walt Disney Animation Studios, he led technology initiatives supporting productions such as Frozen. At Pacific Data Images and DreamWorks Animation, he served as Head of Technology during periods that included releases like Shrek 2 and Madagascar. He also held a Senior Technology Officer role at Industrial Light and Magic, contributing to advancements in visual effects pipelines.

Hendrickson is a named inventor on multiple United States patents covering areas such as remote collaboration, stereoscopic depth rendering, and advanced image processing. His film credits include Forrest Gump, The Mask, Men in Black, Frozen, and Wreck-It Ralph, alongside a long list of commercial video game releases.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley. He also maintains active membership in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers, and ACM SIGGRAPH.
