A long investment cycle is taking shape across Southern Nevada as Station Casinos prepares for a major milestone. The company outlined a multi year slate of upgrades, new venues, and property refreshes across its network, with projects rolling out through 2026.
Good to Know
Station Casinos confirmed that capital projects are underway or scheduled across several core properties. The effort covers everything from large scale resort expansion to dining, entertainment, and neighborhood casino upgrades.
Station Casinos operates as a subsidiary of Red Rock Resorts. Management framed the program as a long term commitment to local customers rather than a single development push.
The largest share of capital targets Durango Casino and Resort in southwest Las Vegas. The company launched the second phase of development at the site, committing $385 million to the expansion.
Durango opened in December 2023 and later added a high limit slot room and a 2,000 space parking garage in December 2024. All existing amenities remain open during construction.
The current phase adds scale across gaming and entertainment. Plans include 400 additional slot machines, a 36 lane bowling venue, luxury movie theaters, new restaurant concepts, food hall additions, and new entertainment spaces.
Renovation work continues at Green Valley Ranch. The property reopened 162 renovated rooms and 37 suites in December, alongside the poker room.
Further upgrades arrive in 2026. The East Tower and South Rotunda Lobby will see full renovation covering 294 rooms and suites.
Additional projects include a remodeled meetings and convention space planned for the first quarter of the year, the opening of a Nielsen Frozen Custard location in the food court early in the year, and renovations to the Regal movie theaters scheduled for mid 2026.
Red Rock Resort will add several food and beverage venues in early 2026. The lineup includes Hearthstone, a Clique Hospitality restaurant returning to the property, along with Randy Donuts joining the food court.
Two local concepts will also enter the food court rotation. Good Pie brings its pizza offering, while With Love Always introduces a smash burger menu.
Sunset Station will undergo a propertywide refresh. Plans include the 2026 opening of a Stoney Rockin Country location and the conversion of Club Madrid into a casino bar.
At Palace Station, Master Kim Korean BBQ is scheduled to open in the spring. The 6,500 square foot restaurant features more than 30 built in grills and seating for over 100 guests. The menu covers brisket, marinated short rib, pork belly, chicken, seafood, traditional banchan, Korean sauces, plus rice and noodle dishes, with both all you can eat and à la carte options.
Station Casinos will open its fourth Seventy Six Tavern on January 22 at Union Village Plaza, located at 1120 Vitality Drive in Henderson. Another location will follow in early 2026 when The Den at Grand Canyon Drive and Tropicana Avenue transitions into the Seventy Six Tavern brand.
The company indicated that additional tavern announcements are expected later in the year.
Station Casinos traces its roots to 1976, when Frank Fertitta Jr. opened an off Strip venue called The Casino. The property later became Bingo Palace before reopening as Palace Station in November 1983.
Today, Station Casinos operates 18 properties across the Las Vegas Valley. The portfolio includes Red Rock Resort, Green Valley Ranch, Durango, Wildfire neighborhood casinos, and the Seventy Six Tavern concept introduced in 2024.
