Denmark Sees Sharp Betting Fall in October

New figures from the Danish Gambling Authority show that total gambling spend in October 2025 fell to DKK 599 million, a 3.4 percent decline from the same month in 2024. The drop was driven almost entirely by the betting sector, which fell sharply by 46 percent year-on-year.

Other segments moved in the opposite direction. Online casinos grew by 24.4 percent, while land-based casinos rose 6 percent and gaming machines increased slightly by 0.6 percent.
