Century Entertainment International Holdings Ltd has entered into a non-binding letter of intent with a casino operator in Vietnam. The move opens the door to expanding the group’s gaming activity into a new market, following earlier operational changes in Cambodia.
Good to Know
The company stated that the letter of intent reflects a parallel effort to re-establish its core gaming business. The group previously operated two VIP rooms at Dara Sakor in Koh Kong province under a three-year arrangement but ceased activity in that market.
Earlier this year, Century Entertainment announced a joint venture with World Platinum Technologies Inc (WPT) in the Philippines. WPT is licensed by Pagcor as a gaming system service and gaming content provider. The joint venture focuses on developing and distributing gaming platforms and related content across the Asia-Pacific region.
The firm noted that the joint venture recorded unaudited revenue of HKD800,000 in July, HKD1,000,000 in August and HKD3,268,000 in September 2025. The group stated that expanding platform distribution and exploring new casino activity can reinforce one another.
Century Entertainment said the gaming platform developed through the joint venture could also be supplied to third-party operators, including a potential operation in Vietnam, enabling alignment in both product and marketing.
Trading in the company’s shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange has been suspended since June 26, 2025, and will continue to be suspended until further notice. The company stated that business operations have continued in all material respects during the suspension period.
No. The letter of intent is non-binding and serves as a step toward evaluating feasibility.
The company ended its VIP room operations in Dara Sakor after contract termination.
It develops and distributes gaming system platforms and content for the Asia-Pacific region.
The company requested the suspension in June 2025 and has not yet resumed trading.
