Poker’s most prestigious tournament series is getting a new address in Europe. The World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) has officially confirmed that its 2026 edition will be held at the Hilton Prague in Czechia, running from March 31 to April 12, 2026, in partnership with King’s Casino Prague.
Good to Know
The move to the Hilton Prague marks what organizers are calling a “rebirth” for WSOPE in one of Europe’s most vibrant poker destinations. With a legacy of attracting the best players from around the world, the festival will once again crown champions across multiple events, each awarding one of the game’s most coveted prizes — the gold bracelet.
Ty Stewart, Chief Executive Officer of WSOP, shared his excitement for the new chapter:
“It’s an exciting rebirth of the World Series of Poker Europe in Prague. We have a big ambition to elevate this festival to one of the very best in the world and look forward to welcoming players to a great poker city next April.”
The 2026 series will host 15 bracelet events, with the full schedule — including event formats and buy-ins — to be announced soon.
WSOPE has built a long-standing reputation as the European counterpart of the famed Las Vegas series. Since its debut in 2007, it has traveled through several iconic cities including London, Cannes, Paris, Berlin, and Rozvadov. Over the years, poker legends such as Annette Obrestad, John Juanda, Elio Fox, Phil Hellmuth, Adrian Mateos, Kevin MacPhee, and Jack Sinclair have all earned their titles at the European tables.
The 2026 edition also promises to embrace innovation with the WSOP+ app, a digital companion designed to enhance the player journey from registration to live updates and real-time engagement.
Meanwhile, GGPoker, the World’s Biggest Poker Room, remains the exclusive home for players hoping to qualify online. The platform’s WSOP Express satellites are already live, giving poker enthusiasts around the world a direct shot at joining the action in Prague and other WSOP live events.
In addition to the in-person festival, WSOP.com and WSOP’s official social media channels will roll out online promotions and updates in the months ahead, inviting a global poker audience to be part of the celebration.
