Ohio Casino Revenue Reaches $89m in August 2025

The Ohio Casino Control Commission has released figures for August 2025, showing combined revenue of just over $89 million across the state’s four casinos. The total represented a 3.9 percent increase compared with the same month last year.

Jack Cleveland Casino reported $22.5 million, a 1.2 percent dip from last year. Slots accounted for just over $14 million, with table games contributing $8.5 million.

Hollywood Casino Toledo saw the strongest percentage growth, climbing 8.6 percent year-over-year with $20.9 million. Slots generated $18 million, up 9.6 percent, while tables added $2.8 million for a 2.5 percent increase.

Hard Rock Cincinnati earned $20.4 million, edging up 0.7 percent compared to the same month last year. Slots provided $14.7 million, while table games contributed $5.7 million, both showing little change from 2024.

Overall, slot machines remain the dominant source of revenue for Ohio casinos. In August 2025, slots produced $66 million, a 4.4 percent increase, generating $875.4 million in handle. Table games accounted for $23 million, growing by 2.5 percent.
