DigiPlus Interactive Corp, one of the Philippines’ best-known gaming firms, is preparing to roll out its first international brand in Brazil on September 22. The launch will be a soft release of its GamePlus platform, offering both free-to-play and real-money games to one of the fastest-growing iGaming markets in the world.
Good to Know
Back home, DigiPlus is already known for its BingoPlus, ArenaPlus, and GameZone products. Now the company is taking its expertise abroad, choosing Brazil as the first stop in its global journey.
Chairman Eusebio Tanco explained the company’s approach:
“Our entry into this dynamic market is the culmination of a global-first mindset, strong collaboration between our teams, and an unwavering commitment to responsible gaming operations. We are not just bringing a platform to Brazil; we are bringing a new standard of safe digital entertainment.”
Tanco also emphasized the local focus of the project:
“We are committed to fostering a strong local talent base and ensuring our offerings are perfectly tailored for Brazilian players, from our exclusive games to our player protection measures.”
According to Brazil country manager Graham Tidey, the platform is designed to fit seamlessly into the local culture:
“GamePlus will launch with a catalogue featuring over 150 of Brazil’s top games – both in free-to-play and real-money versions – and will soon add exclusive content inspired by local folklore, casual games, and sports, ensuring a culturally resonant experience.”
The company says the initial catalogue will expand steadily, with more exclusive features planned to cater specifically to Brazilian tastes.
Brazil is becoming a centerpiece of the global iGaming landscape, generating over US$3.2 billion in GGR in just the first half of the year. DigiPlus described the market’s regulatory framework as an opportunity to stand out by highlighting compliance, transparency, and player protection.
In its official statement, DigiPlus said it is “ready to thrive in Brazil, a regulated market that generated US$3.2 billion in GGR in its first semester.”
While GamePlus takes center stage this year, DigiPlus has already confirmed plans to introduce BingoPlus to Brazil in 2026. The company believes having multiple brands in the market will strengthen its position and provide players with more choices.
