WPT World Championship 2025 Schedule Confirmed for Wynn Las Vegas

Poker fans can circle their calendars for December as the World Poker Tour confirmed the full schedule for the WPT World Championship 2025 at Wynn Las Vegas. The festival, spread across three action-packed weeks, will feature 78 events ranging from satellites and mid-stakes contests to massive high rollers.

• Festival runs Dec. 2–22, 2025 with 78 scheduled events.
• The WPT World Championship carries a $10,400 buy-in (Dec. 13–21).
• The WPT Prime Championship has a $5 million guarantee (Dec. 7–12).

The spotlight shines on two flagship events. The $10,400 WPT World Championship returns without a guarantee, a decision made after last year’s ambitious $40 million goal fell just short. The WPT Prime Championship, however, will once again guarantee $5 million with a $1,100 buy-in.

The schedule offers something for every type of player. Standout side events include:

• Ladies Championship ($1,100 buy-in, $250,000 guaranteed, Dec. 13–14)
• Seniors Championship ($1,100 buy-in, Dec. 18–20)
• Seniors High Roller ($10,000 buy-in, Dec. 20–22)
• Two $25,800 high roller events (Dec. 17–18 and Dec. 18–19)

Large-field events are also back in force:

• $800 Opening Event, $1M guaranteed (Dec. 2–6)
• $1,600 NLH, $1M guaranteed (Dec. 5–7)
• $1,600 NLH, $1M guaranteed (Dec. 20–22)
• $3,000 NLH, $3M guaranteed (Dec. 18–20)

New Additions for 2025

Organizers have also lined up several fresh formats and games for variety:

• $1,600 PLO Mystery Bounty (Dec. 7–8)
• $1,600 NLH $1M GTD with a single starting day (Dec. 12–13)
• $1,100 NLH $2M GTD (Dec. 16–19)

Expanded mixed games schedule, including H.O.R.S.E., T.O.R.S.E., Big O, Omaha 8-or-better, multiple PLO variants, and mixed lowball formats.

By blending prestige tournaments with community-focused buy-ins and a deeper variety of mixed games, the WPT and Wynn continue shaping the December series into one of poker’s most complete festivals.
