Poker vlogging has exploded in recent years, building loyal audiences on YouTube and social media. Now the World Series of Poker wants to bring those creators closer to the action with a structured program that rewards them for promoting the WSOP brand.
Good to Know
During the 2025 series at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas, officials clamped down on filming in the tournament area, frustrating many content creators. The new initiative flips that policy. Qualified vloggers can now apply for a WSOP media pass, giving them official permission to film at the tables.
In addition, the program introduces financial rewards tied to view counts. For example, vloggers can earn $5,000 if a video hits one million views in a month, and $10,000 if it crosses 2.5 million. WSOP officials said the plan helps “share the excitement of the WSOP with the world.”
To qualify, a creator must be at least 18 years old, run a YouTube channel with 5,000 or more subscribers, and ensure at least 60% of their content is poker-focused. Participants also agree to produce at least three videos of 30 minutes or more per month, and cannot display outside sponsors or logos while representing WSOP.
The program divides creators into four categories, each with its own set of perks:
By formalizing the role of poker vloggers, the WSOP recognizes their growing influence in shaping how fans engage with the game. Creators not only bring visibility to the series but also give viewers a behind-the-scenes look that traditional media doesn’t capture. For vloggers, the program offers stability, exposure, and a path to make poker content a sustainable career.
