Turning Stone Enterprises has released new animated renderings of its Turning Stone Evolution project, a $370 million expansion that represents the resort’s largest development in two decades. The visuals give guests, partners, and the community a chance to preview how the property will look once construction wraps up in 2027.
Good to Know
At the heart of the expansion is the Grand Expo, a 165,000-square-foot convention and event space that will double the resort’s current capacity. Plans call for two new ballrooms, courtyards, and upgraded reception areas, positioning the property as the largest conference destination in Upstate New York and one of just three of its scale statewide.
Complementing the expo is the Crescent Hotel, a 258-room tower directly connected to the resort’s restaurants, event center, showroom, and casino. The hotel will also debut a new dining concept, Salt Seafood & Raw Bar, designed to bring fine dining to the property’s growing guest base.
To support the influx of visitors, construction is underway on a 1,600-space parking garage, effectively doubling Turning Stone’s indoor parking capacity.
The Oneida Indian Nation’s $370 million investment is expected to generate a one-time economic impact of more than $600 million, alongside $22 million in state and local tax revenue. The project is also slated to create over 3,500 construction and related jobs, with more than 60 New York businesses already contracted to contribute to the Grand Expo, Crescent Hotel, and parking garage.
In 2024, the Nation spent $161 million with vendors in Oneida, Madison, and Onondaga counties, and that figure is projected to rise as the expansion progresses.
The unveiling of the animated renderings coincides with preparations for the Nation’s “Doing Business with the Oneida Indian Nation” conference on Sept. 12, 2025. The half-day event will highlight vendor opportunities tied to Turning Stone Evolution and the $50 million expansion at Point Place Casino.
Business leaders attending can expect panel discussions with resort executives, vendors, and community partners, as well as a procurement fair where owners connect directly with purchasing agents.
