Hard Rock is ready to add more global flavor to its hotel lineup, and this time, it has its eyes on Ras Al Khaimah. The brand plans to plant its flag in the UAE by the end of 2028, teaming up with local and international partners to bring a mixed-use resort to life.
The hotel is part of a broader effort to expand entertainment-driven hospitality in fast-growing destinations. With Ras Al Khaimah attracting more attention from the tourism and real estate sectors, Hard Rock seems to be stepping into the picture at just the right moment.
Good to know
While the spotlight is on the UAE project, Hard Rock is also tweaking its plans in Las Vegas. The company is increasing the number of hotel rooms in its under-construction Guitar Hotel tower at the Mirage site. The count is now set at 675, up from the earlier plan of 603, which itself had already been revised from the original 596.
Back in Ras Al Khaimah, the site will be located near Al Marjan Island, not far from where Wynn Resorts is building its own development. The hotel will feature restaurants, spa services, event spaces, and wellness facilities. In total, it will be Hard Rock’s first entry into the emirate’s real estate market, and db Group’s first large-scale project outside of Malta.
RAK Hospitality Holding described the collaboration as a mix of strong local knowledge, international branding, and experience in delivering complex developments. All parties involved see the venture as helping support Ras Al Khaimah’s long-term tourism and economic diversification goals.
