Daniel Zack Grabs Fourth Bracelet in $3K PLO Six Max

Daniel Zack added another title to his poker résumé by winning the last event of the 2025 World Series of Poker. He came out on top in Event #96: $3,000 Pot-Limit Omaha, outlasting 1,088 entries and taking home $471,170 along with his fourth career gold bracelet.

Good to know

  • Daniel Zack now holds four WSOP bracelets and over $5.1 million in live tournament earnings.
  • The final table needed an extra fourth day to determine a winner.
  • This win was Zack’s second-largest payout ever, behind only his 2022 $250,000 High Roller cash.

Zack, who earned WSOP Player of the Year honors in 2022, had not secured another bracelet since that standout run. That changed when he worked his way through a tough field in the PLO six-max event, collecting his first POY-qualifying score of the year.

His path to the win was not easy. Big names like Alex Foxen, JC Tran, Elior Sion, and Joe Serock made deep runs. The event generated a $2.9 million prize pool, with the top 164 finishers getting paid. Jeremy Ausmus, already with six bracelets, made the final table but exited in sixth place after running kings into aces. Bulgarian pro Fahredin Mustafov followed in fifth.

Once play was paused with four players left, Zack returned for an unscheduled day four in second chip position. Richard Gryko started that day on top but lost ground quickly. He was eliminated in fourth when his kings ran into aces held by Joshua Ladines, who briefly climbed into the chip lead.

Ladines’ momentum did not last. He dropped multiple key pots to both Zack and Zachary Schwartz before getting knocked out in third with a full house that could not beat Zack’s rivered kings full. Ladines took home $216,539 for his efforts.

Heads-up play started with Zack holding a massive chip lead over Schwartz. He stayed aggressive and closed it out without much delay. In the final hand, both players had flush draws, but Zack’s two pair improved to kings and queens by the river, enough to lock up the win. Schwartz earned a personal best $314,056 as runner-up.

Final table recap

Jeremy Ausmus ran kings into aces to finish sixth. Mustafov’s full house came up short, landing him in fifth. Gryko lost a key flip and exited in fourth, while Ladines fell in third after being ahead multiple times during three-handed play. Zack controlled the heads-up stage and defeated Schwartz to seal the title.
