Comanche Nation Entertainment (CNE) is rolling out a major expansion across its two key casino properties in Southwest Oklahoma. With a focus on boosting local tourism and creating more economic opportunities, the project begins with a substantial overhaul of the Comanche Red River Hotel Casino.
Good to know
The expansion plan starts with the Comanche Red River Hotel Casino, where the gaming floor will grow with 150 new slot machines and 15 additional table games. Plans also include a new bar, food service area, arcade, and virtual golf suites. The centerpiece will be a new event venue designed for concerts, conferences, and community events, with room for up to 750 people.
CEO Steven Doyle described the project as a key step in CNE’s long-term strategy. “This capital improvement marks a strategic milestone for Comanche Nation Entertainment,” he said. “It gives us room to grow in a smart and sustainable way – creating more value for our guests, our team members, and most importantly, Comanche Nation.”
CNE expects the new facilities to draw more overnight visitors and extend casino floor play time, while also bringing in crowds for live events. The upgrades are designed to create a more complete destination experience, combining hospitality, gaming, and entertainment under one roof.
“Expanding our hotel room capacity and building an event center creates a stronger foundation for long-term profitability,” Doyle added. “It helps us capture more overnight visitors, extend play time on the casino floor and bring in new audiences for live events and entertainment.”
Beyond guest experience, CNE emphasized the project’s broader economic role. With new jobs and increased business activity expected throughout the region, the company says the expansion supports both economic growth and cultural preservation.
Though the Red River property is the first focus, CNE confirmed that the Comanche Nation Casino will also see future improvements as part of the broader development plan. Details about that phase have not yet been shared, but the company stressed that the long-term goal is sustainability and community benefit.
“This expansion is more than a development plan,” Doyle said. “It’s a symbol of progress, resilience, and collective effort. We’re investing in a future where the Comanche people thrive.”
Construction on the Red River event center is expected to begin later this year.
