Netanel Stern wins Event #87: $5,000 No-Limit Hold’em Super Turbo Bounty

The $5,000 No-Limit Hold’em Super Turbo Bounty ran at lightning speed and wrapped up in just one day. Out of 1,283 entries, it was Israel’s Netanel Stern who came out on top, earning $639,454 and his first WSOP bracelet. It was also Stern’s first recorded live tournament win.

The pace was fast and the names were big. Ari Engel, Mustapha Kanit, Jesse Lonis, and Dario Sammartino all went deep. At the final table, Rostyslav Sabishchenko knocked out multiple players to reach heads-up play with the chip lead. But Stern flipped the script. After doubling up with king-queen against ace-three, he moved ahead, then sealed the win with pocket aces against Sabishchenko’s king-ten. Sabishchenko walked away with $412,187 for second.

Ferenc Deak wins Event #86: $1,000 Mystery Bounty Pot-Limit Omaha

Ferenc Deak promised his son he would return from Las Vegas with a trophy. He kept that promise by winning the $1,000 Mystery Bounty Pot-Limit Omaha, besting a field of 5,284 entries for $329,980—plus bounties.

The Hungarian PLO regular took command late on Day 3 and carried that momentum into Day 4. A string of big pots against Carlos De Lima and Quan Tran helped him take the chip lead with two tables left. The final table took only 90 minutes as Deak closed it out with three knockouts, including the final one against Paulo Drummond. The Brazilian finished second, earning $219,890 plus his share of mystery bounties.

Meanwhile, Las Vegas local Vincent Moscati pulled both $100,000 top mystery bounty cards during the event, despite finishing 40th. That haul easily put him among the top earners in the entire tournament.

Kasparas Klezys takes Event #91: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Six-Max

Lithuanian poker pro Kasparas Klezys took down the $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Six-Max event, topping a 1,384-entry field and banking $280,214 along with his first WSOP bracelet.

Klezys has had close calls in previous events, including a final four finish at the 2023 WSOP Europe main event. In this tournament, he eliminated all five of his final table opponents. He came into heads-up play with a big chip lead over Jonathan Hanner and closed the match with a nut flush. Hanner earned $186,732 for second place.

The event’s prize pool hit nearly $1.84 million, and the top 209 players made the money. Familiar names like Joshua Reichard, Darryll Fish, and Jose Barbero were among the cashes.

Khoi Le Nguyen captures Event #90: $50,000 No-Limit Hold’em High Roller

Just days after winning $777,777 at Aria, Vietnam’s Khoi Le Nguyen jumped into the $50,000 No-Limit Hold’em High Roller and took down his first WSOP bracelet. The tournament drew a record 250 entries and built a $12.15 million prize pool. Nguyen topped it for a $2,361,403 payday.

Big-name pros such as Alex Foxen, Benny Glaser, Jesse Lonis, and Kristen Foxen cashed but missed the final table. Nguyen made several key eliminations late in the day, including Sergio Aido and Jun Obara. Heads-up, he battled Alexandre Reard. After trading leads, Nguyen landed a full house in a huge all-in pot that crippled Reard. Not long after, Nguyen finished the job, while Reard locked in $1,791,267 for his runner-up result.
