PGCB Adds 15 to Pennsylvania Gambling Exclusion List

Fifteen more individuals have lost their gambling privileges in Pennsylvania after recent enforcement action by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB). The updated total on the state’s involuntary exclusion lists now stands at 1,405. Those listed are banned from gambling at casinos, on regulated iGaming platforms, or at video gaming terminal (VGT) locations across the state.

Good to know

  • Children left alone at casinos lead to immediate bans for responsible adults.
  • Fraud on online gambling platforms can result in statewide exclusion.
  • Involuntary exclusion applies to both physical and digital gambling.

Among the 15 new entries, three adults were banned for leaving minors unattended while they gambled at a casino. The PGCB emphasized the risk such actions pose, stating, “Actions such as these to deny statewide gambling privileges serve as a reminder that adults are prohibited from leaving minors unattended in the parking lot or garage, a hotel or other venues at a casino since it creates a potentially unsafe and dangerous environment for the children.”

Online fraud and casino violations lead to bans

Six individuals were placed on the PGCB’s interactive gaming exclusion list after being caught engaging in fraud through online gambling sites. These violations reflect the growing need for regulation and oversight in the digital betting space.

The other nine individuals, including the three tied to child endangerment, were added to the casino exclusion list. PGCB had last taken similar action on May 21, when 14 individuals were added for various offenses. Each new listing removes all legal access to gambling throughout Pennsylvania, across all channels.
