VIP Play Appoints Les Ottolenghi as New CEO

VIP Play has made a leadership change as it prepares to expand its footprint in online gaming. The company’s Board of Directors has named Les Ottolenghi as its new CEO, aiming to tap into his experience across gaming, media, education, and technology.

His work in these industries reportedly helped generate over $100 billion in combined market value. His appointment took effect immediately following the Board’s decision.

Bruce Cassidy, Chairman of VIP Play’s Board, explained the rationale behind the appointment: “Les is the ideal leader to guide VIP Play through its transformation. His track record of harnessing advanced technologies to unlock new markets and enhance customer engagement aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver innovative and engaging wagering experiences.”

The company is currently operating in Tennessee and is gearing up to launch in West Virginia. On April 3, VIP Play received an interim mobile sports betting and online casino license from the state. The launch is being made possible through a partnership with Delaware North’s Wheeling Island Casino. VIP Play said it expects to begin offering its services in the state “in the coming months.”
