Seth Davies Wins WSOP Event #46 $250,000 Super High Roller for $4.75 Million

Seth Davies secured his first World Series of Poker bracelet after taking down WSOP Event #46: $250,000 Super High Roller, defeating a stacked field to win $4,752,551—the largest payout of the 2025 WSOP so far.

Good to know

  • Davies now has over $45 million in live career earnings.
  • The event attracted 63 entries and generated a $15.58 million prize pool.
  • Heads-up play against Alex Foxen lasted only two hands.

Since May, Davies has been on a remarkable run. He started with wins in a €100,000 EPT Monte Carlo high roller and a $50,000 Triton title in Montenegro, followed by a second-place finish in the $200,000 Triton Invitational for over $4.1 million. That streak set the stage for his WSOP breakthrough.

The win in WSOP Event 46: $250,000 Super High Roller added another $4.75 million to his total, bringing his 2025 earnings past $12 million and his 12-month total to over $19 million.

The final table featured elite players including Bryn Kenney, David Peters, Chris Brewer, Martin Kabrhel, and Ben Tollerene. Davies entered with one of the shorter stacks but doubled through both Alex Foxen and Thomas Boivin to climb into contention.

With pocket kings, Davies eliminated Kenney to move into the top spot three-handed. Foxen then knocked out Boivin in third with ace-seven versus king-queen, setting up a heads-up duel.

It ended fast. On the very first hand, Davies shoved over Foxen’s raise with A♦ J♠. Foxen called with A♥ Q♦, but Davies hit a jack to double up. On the next hand, Davies had pocket aces and called Foxen’s shove with K♦ 5♣. Foxen hit two pair, but the board paired to give Davies the win.

Ben Tollerene was the first to exit after his kings ran into aces. Kabrhel followed in seventh, losing to Brewer’s ace-jack. Peters exited in sixth after running into Foxen, while Brewer was eliminated fifth in a painful river hand. Kenney secured fourth for $1.44 million. Boivin finished third for a career-best $2.05 million.

Davies’ win now puts him inside the top 20 on poker’s all-time money list.
