BGaming has completed its first online industry event, TRUE WAYS, drawing strong attendance and wide interest from iGaming professionals around the globe. The digital conference took place on June 4, 2025, and marked the company’s initial step into large-scale virtual gatherings.
Good to know
TRUE WAYS was designed to bring together iGaming voices to discuss real-world experiences, both positive and challenging. BGaming focused the format on collaboration and transparency rather than promotional hype, encouraging honest conversations through case studies and industry feedback.
Rather than presenting polished marketing pitches, speakers shared direct insights into what works in specific markets — and what does not. BGaming aimed to offer attendees useful strategies and fresh ideas based on first-hand knowledge.
Dmitry Belianin from the Belianin Group pointed to Africa as one of the most promising iGaming markets. He emphasized mobile-first usage and early growth potential, citing projected 2024 gross gaming revenue of $3.5 billion in South Africa, $1.1 billion in Nigeria, and $755 million in Kenya. He described Africa as “the next iGaming frontier.”
Sasha Boerma of Split The Pot echoed the importance of localized strategies for operators in Africa. She advised that “to grow, go local,” noting that cultural alignment and strong offline engagement are critical for success in the region.
Shifting to Asia, Ataur Rosul Abeer of Slotegrator discussed user behavior in India, Bangladesh, and Vietnam. He said players in these markets often gravitate toward simple formats like crash games, live dealer products, and sports betting. He also highlighted fantasy sports and easy-to-learn mechanics as broader global trends on the rise.
Several speakers focused on tools and methods to improve visibility and engagement. BGaming’s own CMO, Kate Puteiko, urged operators to focus on measurable outcomes rather than buzzwords. She stressed the value of systems designed around real-world usage.
Kate Romanenko from Kendoo outlined how game data can be used to fine-tune content and improve lobby performance. She encouraged attendees to apply competitive analysis and third-party research when forming content strategies.
The conference also included input from several other industry professionals such as Shahar Attias (Hybrid Interaction), Ivan Bilash (SOFTSWISS), Marija Hammon (Brand & Marketing Consultant), Yaroslav Babych (ZM Team), and more.
BGaming CEO Marina Ostrovtsova called TRUE WAYS a success and confirmed the company plans to build on the concept. “The event exceeded all expectations, and the feedback we have received has been extremely positive,” she said. “TRUE WAYS provides a space for real dialogue, and we are excited to see where this initiative will take us next.”
Anyone who missed the live event can view session recordings through the login page of the TRUE WAYS site.
