WSOP Circuit Expands with 29 Events Through December, Full Schedule Here

The World Series of Poker has laid out its plans for the second half of the 2025 WSOP Circuit season, covering events from July through December. This update shifts the Circuit to a calendar-year model for the first time, setting the stage for future seasons to follow this format permanently.

Good to know

  • Tournament of Champions is being replaced with a WSOP Paradise prize package.
  • All Circuit events will now integrate the WSOP+ app.
  • 2025 second half includes 17 U.S. stops and 12 international events.

WSOP officials are phasing out the traditional season-long structure in favor of a calendar-year layout. The change means that what was once called the first half of the next season is now officially part of the 2025 WSOP Circuit. Starting in 2026, the entire Circuit will run from January through December every year.

One of the most noticeable changes is the removal of the annual Tournament of Champions. In its place, ring winners between July 1 and December 2 will earn a $5,000 “Ticket To Paradise” package, which includes a $2,500 event buy-in and complimentary accommodations for WSOP Paradise in the Bahamas. The offer cannot be transferred or refunded.

Events Across the U.S. and Beyond

Seventeen locations across the United States will host WSOP Circuit stops in the second half of 2025. The schedule includes Choctaw Casino in Oklahoma, Harrah’s in both Atlantic City and Cherokee, Caesars New Orleans, Thunder Valley in California, and Horseshoe Las Vegas.

Internationally, 12 events will take place. Canada will host three separate series, while other stops include Belgium, Panama, the UK, North Cyprus, and the Czech Republic. Consistency remains a priority, with officials noting that structures and payout formats will stay standardized across all locations.

WSOP+ App and Online Satellites

The WSOP+ app will be used at every stop moving forward. The platform has already proven useful in Las Vegas for streamlining registration and providing players with live tournament info. Online qualifiers will continue through GGPoker, giving international players more access to WSOP Circuit events.

WSOP has appointed new tournament directors to oversee this expansion. Dennis Jones will manage U.S. Circuit events, while Andy Tillman will handle international duties.

The 2024–25 season featured 45 total stops, over 291,000 entries, and 729 tournaments, awarding more than $168 million in total prize money.
