BetRivers Poker has expanded into West Virginia, Michigan, and Delaware, joining Pennsylvania in a shared online network. Rush Street Interactive (RSI), the operator behind BetRivers, is connecting players across all four states to larger tournaments and prize pools.
Good to know
BetRivers Poker first launched in Pennsylvania in November 2024. Now, the addition of three more states means players can join the same tables, access more games, and enjoy a more active poker environment. RSI sees this as a step toward building one of the largest poker networks in the country.
“By expanding the network, we’ll bring more players to our tables, offer a wider variety of games, and raise the stakes with larger tournament prize pools,” said RSI CEO Richard Schwartz.
This multi-state approach is made possible by the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement (MSIGA), which allows operators to share player pools across state lines. Pennsylvania became the sixth member in April when Governor Josh Shapiro signed the agreement.
The move added over 150,000 online poker players to the MSIGA, which now reaches more than 38 million residents across six states: Nevada, New Jersey, Delaware, Michigan, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
Shortly after, Caesars Entertainment expanded WSOP Online into Pennsylvania, further increasing shared liquidity in its poker network.
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) is working with other states on regulatory coordination, including responsible gaming and security standards.
RSI plans to launch BetRivers Poker in New Jersey later this year, continuing its growth in the regulated U.S. online poker market.
