Scott Bohlman has added a second World Series of Poker bracelet to his resume, this time in a game not typically associated with his long record of success. Known for his skill in mixed games, Bohlman took down Event #17: $2,000 NL Hold’em, and pocketed a career-best $436,044.
The win came after four days of play, with Bohlman outlasting a field of 1,692 entries. The total prize pool reached over $3 million, and several familiar names made deep runs before falling short.

“It feels good, I have never won a big field no-limit hold’em in 25 years,” Bohlman told reporters.
The four-day event attracted a deep mix of pros and regulars, and the money bubble burst with several well-known players still in. Joe McKeehen, winner of the 2015 Main Event, finished 42nd. Other late finishers included Pete Chen (17th), Jesse Lonis (15th), Brian Green (13th), and Quan Zhou, who exited in fourth.
Bohlman remained steady through the final stages of the event. His victory here represents the largest cash of his poker career. His previous bracelet came back in 2018, in a $2,500 Big Bet Mixed event for $122,138.
In the Mix for Player of the Year
Bohlman had already made noise earlier in the 2025 series. Just a few days before this win, he had a deep run in the $1,500 Dealers Choice event as he took fourth place. The event that was won by Benny Glaser. With a bracelet and another final table under his belt early in the summer, Bohlman is putting together a strong Player of the Year campaign.
