Altenar is stepping into the Dutch market by extending its partnership with Starcasino, the European casino and sportsbook operator. After nearly three years of working together in Belgium, the two companies are now taking their collaboration into a new regulated space.
Good to know
- Altenar and Starcasino have already worked together in Belgium across both online and retail sportsbooks.
- The Dutch entry uses the same Altenar technology that powered Starcasino’s Belgian growth.
- Altenar continues to expand across regulated European regions.
The move comes as Starcasino begins operations in the Netherlands. Just as Altenar supported the Belgian launch with its sportsbook platform, it will once again provide the full backend infrastructure for the Dutch site. The shift represents a natural continuation of the partnership.
Alejandro Cazorla of Altenar sees the expansion as a key milestone. “We’re proud to support Starcasino’s expansion from Belgium into the Dutch market – a significant milestone in our collaboration since 2022,” he said.
He added that the sportsbook solution is designed for flexibility and regulatory compliance. That, he said, reflects Altenar’s aim to create long-term value for partners in regulated spaces.
On the other side of the partnership, Starcasino director Pieter van den Bos welcomed the move into the Netherlands. He said, “Following the success of our collaboration with Altenar in Belgium, Starcasino is thrilled to introduce a unique sportsbook platform to the Dutch market.”
Van den Bos highlighted the blend of Altenar’s technology with Starcasino’s promotional tools and competitive odds, calling it a fresh experience for Dutch sports bettors.
