Caesars is making moves ahead of the upcoming World Series of Poker. With less than two weeks to go, the company has launched a new poker space at Planet Hollywood, aiming to give players more choices before cards hit the table for the 56th edition of the tournament.
Good to know
- The PH Poker Room offers both tournament and cash games, running 24 hours a day.
- Caesars already operates another poker room at Horseshoe Las Vegas.
- The World Series of Poker begins in just under 18 days.
The PH Poker Room, now open at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, adds 23 new tables to Caesars’ poker offerings. Of those, 12 are dedicated to cash games while 11 support tournament play. The space covers 4,800 square feet and is designed to stay busy around the clock.
Ken Ostempowski, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Poker Rooms at Caesars, called it a timely addition. “With just 18 days from the first deal of World Series of Poker, we are raising the stakes by bringing the energy and excitement of tournament-style poker back to Planet Hollywood,” he said.
He added, “Today, we are opening our newest poker room, PH Poker Room, an addition that will amplify the already incredible offerings we have for the thousands of poker players coming to our resorts throughout the summer.”
Beyond the new room at Planet Hollywood, players will also find poker action at Horseshoe Las Vegas. That venue hosts the World Series of Poker Hall of Fame Poker Room, where 18 custom-built tables add another layer to the experience.
The expansion arrives just as the poker crowd starts arriving in Las Vegas for the biggest tournament series of the year. If you are heading to Vegas this summer, don’t miss out on Kenny Hallaert’s Vegas tournament calendar!
