etMGM Poker is bringing players from three states together on a single platform. Starting April 28 at 9 a.m. EST, players in Pennsylvania will join those in New Jersey and Michigan in a shared player pool. This move opens the door to larger tournaments, more consistent traffic, and bigger prize opportunities across the network.
Good to know
- BetMGM Poker now links players from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Michigan.
- Shared liquidity starts April 28 and enables larger prize pools and more games.
- The platform is launching new tournaments, promotions, and qualifiers.
Pennsylvania now becomes the largest market added to the BetMGM Poker liquidity pool. The combined traffic from all three states will allow for more games and higher-value competitions on a regular basis.
Angus Nisbet, Vice President of Gaming at BetMGM, called the addition a game-changer. “Pennsylvania represents the largest state to join the shared player pool and turbocharges our poker platform. This expanded player pool will allow us to deliver more games and bigger tournaments to our players.”
New Tournaments and Promotions Launch Alongside Integration
To celebrate the expanded network, BetMGM has announced a lineup of events and promotions. One of the first is the $35,000 GTD C-Note, a no-buy-in tournament that starts April 29 at 7:05 p.m. EST. The winner walks away with a $5,000 package to the BetMGM Poker Championship, along with a cash payout.
The BetMGM May Millions series runs May 8–11. It will be the biggest tournament weekend in BetMGM Poker’s history. The lineup includes 18 events, a $2,500 Super High Roller, and a $1,000 Championship with a $400,000 guarantee.
Players can also log in daily to spin a prize wheel for a chance to win tournament tickets worth up to $500. More offers are available in the BetMGM Poker app.
BetMGM Poker Championship Returns to Las Vegas
In addition to the online push, BetMGM is once again hosting its Poker Championship at ARIA in Las Vegas from June 30 to July 4. Qualifiers for this live event run every Thursday and Sunday at 9:15 p.m. EST through June 22.
More than 100 players from BetMGM markets—including Pennsylvania, Michigan, New Jersey, and Ontario—will win prize packages. Each one includes a $3,500 entry, five nights at ARIA, travel credit, and a branded swag bag.
Darren Elias, BetMGM Poker ambassador and four-time World Poker Tour champion, shared his thoughts. “It’s been amazing being part of the tremendous growth of BetMGM poker throughout the years. Adding a large market like Pennsylvania is a huge milestone in continued expansion and provides the opportunity to compete against more players and for larger prize pools. I used to call Pennsylvania home, and it played an important part in my early poker career. I can’t wait to log in and get in the mix.”
