Martin Pakula Joins Crown Melbourne Board Ahead of Chair Role

Crown Resorts has announced that Martin Pakula will take over as Chair of Crown Melbourne on July 1, 2025. He will join the Board starting May 1, stepping into the role currently held by Ian Silk.

His leadership guided the organisation through major changes, including the successful effort to regain its casino licence from the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission. He will remain in his position until the handover in July to ensure a smooth transition.

Pakula brings years of public service experience to the role. He previously served as Victoria’s Attorney-General, as well as Minister for Tourism, Sport, and Major Events. He currently chairs the Australian Grand Prix Corporation.
