STN Sports Set To Launch At Treasure Island And Mesquite

Station Casinos is preparing to expand its STN Sports brand to new locations in Nevada. The Nevada Gaming Control Board has unanimously recommended approval for STN Sports to operate sportsbook kiosks at Treasure Island on the Las Vegas Strip, as well as at CasaBlanca Resort and Virgin River Hotel & Casino in Mesquite.

Final approval now rests with the Nevada Gaming Commission, which is scheduled to review the proposal on April 24. If approved, the kiosks are expected to begin operations in late May 2025.

The launch at Treasure Island would mark the first time Station Casinos introduces its sportsbook services directly on the Strip. Under five-year renewable agreements, the company will first use its Stadium Technology Group platform at all three sites to handle wagers. Over time, the system will shift to a platform developed by GAN Limited, which is already undergoing testing at Station Casinos’ own venues.

The upcoming GAN system will offer expanded betting options, including in-game wagers and access to both live sports and horse racing.

Station Casinos Director of Race and Sports Analysis, Jason Simbal, shared details on staffing. While Treasure Island’s sportsbook staff will officially become Station Casinos employees, the workers at the Mesquite locations will remain under their current employers.

At Treasure Island, the new space will be branded STN Sports at Golden Circle Sportsbook & Bar. In Mesquite, the sportsbook operations will begin without rebranding current employee roles.

If everything goes forward as planned, STN Sports will manage 19 sportsbook operations throughout Nevada, strengthening Station Casinos’ presence in the state’s sports betting market.
